Good difficulty of class but great for all levels as very freestyle
These classes move and you repeat series on each side and rarely have a long break
Great music and nice and loud but not deafening
Clean studio but change at home place
Very good size class and most are full
These studios are no fuss and no nonsense, don’t expect a hug

JayBird Studio review on Queen West in Toronto. Opened in 2022, this is Jaybird’s first Toronto location, expanded from Vancouver. This dark and sultry studio and they label themselves as a contemporary movement studio and I think that describes it very well as Pilates Fusion. This location only has the mat classes, no reformers but The Burn class is the same or close to the same as in Yorkville.

This class is in the dark with candlelight accents in a hot room. Depending on the instructor you will use some props and be lead through a series of ‘sculpt’ and movement series.  You have a free style moment of dancing and movement to ‘let it all go’. The classes skew younger but everyone is welcome and don’t be embarrassed to let it go in the dark room…why not? Time to have some fun.
