Canergy Prima Review – If you’re around the old Ryerson campus (TMU now, but let’s be honest, most of us Gen Xers still call it Ryerson), there’s a cute little studio tucked up on the second floor worth knowing about. Exposed brick, a humble setup, but don’t let “humble” fool you: it’s still got all the bells, whistles, and props you’d expect from a proper reformer studio.
I dropped in for a midday Level 2 Sculpt class. Attendance was on the quiet side, five reformers filled out of fourteen, which made for a relaxed, unintimidating vibe. Perfect if you’re not into sweating next to a packed room.
The class itself was a standard sculpt format, tilted a little more toward legs than a typical full-body class, though it still worked the whole body. We used the reformer with the boxes to target arms and, in particular, core.
