Intensity & Challenge Verdict

This was a very challenging Pilates/HIIT class
Fast paced transitions keeps you on your toes and your sweat dripping
Music was EDM and loud but just the way you want it in a class like this
You can change here but still feel a better place to change at home but you have options – renovated studio is neat and clean
Big class and spaces are tight if full – 43 spots in the heated mat studio
I got a nice tour of the renovated facilities and help getting my props in order

IAM Yoga Pilates Review – Revisited this location as it had been almost a year and a half since I last visited. Since then they have expanded into extra space and renovated the heck out of it. The studio looks gorgeous after the renos. They still have the old school touch of exposed brick and creaky old stairs. TitleThey added reformers and the line up of classes and instructors has been enhanced. On Instagram I came across Yana @shurdukyana and how she tortures her students (obviously I am kidding) but definitely her classes are not for the faint of heart!

I did a Hot HIIT Sculpt Pilates. I would say more Mat Pilates than HIIT but there are cardio aspects! Class was tough, sweaty, busy and a lot of fun. She gets her water gun out,  I wasn’t sprayed this class. I’d guess it comes out when you slow down or need to cool off.  No matter it was fun. Music was loud and super motivating with your classic and new EDM hits so right up my alley. Bring your own yoga mat towel if you sweat a lot. She will have the props written on the door of what to bring to class – duing mine it was everything except the dreaded Pilates Ring.
