Barry’s Yorkville HIIT Class Toronto – Our latest adventure took us to Yorkville for a burning HIIT/Cardio session at Barry’s. Each Barry’s location follows the same format. There were no surprises, just that signature red room, and my equally red face by the end. I’d been putting this class off for a while because of a lingering plantar fasciitis injury. I was nervous to jump back in, but I booked the OG instructor, Kevin Yeboah, and the class did not disappoint.
I made sure to arrived early for a quick tour and promised myself not to overdo it and of course, I did anyway. In my section, we started on the floor, which I recommend for beginners. It’s a gentler warm-up before you hit the treadmills. When I asked Kevin to set me at 10 km/h, he said, “No, 10 mph!” For the record, you’re completely fine to walk or jog the treadmill, you definitely don’t have to sprint. But I did. And it was hard stuff kids, hard stuff but worth it! Excellent work out!!
