Nice welcome and intro

Dancing Geisha – Near Dufferin and Caledonia in West Toronto, Dancing Geisha delivers a bold break from your usual fitness class. Sassy jumped into her first-ever pole session—complete with a spinning pole (yes, the pole spins, not you). The front studio buzzes with pros defying gravity, while beginners get their own laid-back space in the back.

The class mixes all ages and skill levels, creating an upbeat, welcoming vibe that keeps you cheering for yourself and others. The instructor brings great energy and clear demos that make every spin feel like progress. You’ll need some upper-body strength, a bit of flexibility, and a sense of humour, but it’s worth it. Challenging, playful, and a surprisingly great full-body workout and definitely Sassy Sweat approved!

🔥 Other Toronto Fitness Options

Park & Ride

Parking in front of building but I had to go across the street to a restaurant - no big deal

Wallet Workout

$35 drop in and many packages, they also offer private classes for newbies and parties for friends

Sweat Couture

This is interesting - you can't wear a ton as your skin needs to stick to the pole so shorts are short and no sleeves - let it rip ladies

Sweatcessories

Just small outfit and some water

Top Tips

At the end of class record your final dance - Sassy was SOOOO hesitant but when I watched back...was not too bad at all!!!
