Intensity & Challenge Verdict

Was a challenging class but was great for all ages and levels
Reformer Pilates should always be at a slow pace and not rushed
Nice music but not overbearing and was in the background
The studio is clean but no shower facilities but dedicated toilets
Smaller size class which is great as you can see and hear all cues – about 12 machinese
Catherine gave a great welcome and mini tour

Ki Movement Studio is located in Downtown Toronto is a favourite local studio that manages to be both cute and completely ego-free. This no-pretence reformer studio offers a massive variety of classes—think Core & Glutes, Move & Groove, and Intense & Sculpt.

I tested the Power & Burn class, which lived up to its name. It moved at a steady, challenging pace that kept me engaged from start to finish. Instructor Katherine was clear, concise, and fun demeanor, she effortlessly accommodated all levels in the class. If you’re looking for a studio that fits your schedule without the high-pressure vibe of a mega-gym, Ki is a great offer for locals and visitors to the city.
