Intensity & Challenge Verdict

Approachable for beginners, still enough here to challenge a regular practitioner.
Unhurried and steady, this is a slow-build flow, not a race to the next pose.
Music stays low and unobtrusive, this is a class for tuning into your breath, not the beat.
Clean change rooms on-site, but no showers, plan to freshen up at home.
mall to medium classes, roughly 12-20 spots, intimate without feeling empty.
Warm welcome at check-in, plus a quick studio tour if you’re new.

Oli Yoga & Pilates – Tucked into the Bedford Park/Lawrence area, Oli is a locally owned, woman-owned studio with a cozy feel and warm, thoughtful decor. It has the kind of neighbourhood-spot energy that’s rare to find in Toronto’s yoga scene.

I took both a hot yoga class and a mat Pilates class here. The hot room uses infrared heat and runs warm, not scorching. So it’s a good entry point if intense heat has kept you away from hot yoga before. Class sizes are intimate, and both sessions are built for all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students.

Drop-in classes run $32, which is on the higher end, but they run frequent specials worth checking before you book. One thing to plan around: there are change rooms but no showers, so if you’re coming from work or heading straight back out, you’ll want to shower at home before or after.
