Intensity & Challenge Verdict

Reliably intense and sweat-heavy. CorePower has their signature heated formulas down to a science, offering a powerful full-body workout that consistently challenges your endurance.
Athletic, fast-paced, and structured. The choreography is designed to keep you moving efficiently with the music, ensuring your heart rate stays elevated from start to finish.
Energetic and crisp. The sound system easily fills the massive studio space with motivating, upbeat playlists that keep the energy high even in a large room.
Offering clean changerooms and beautiful showers to make freshening up after a heavy sweat a breeze.
High-capacity. The studio Room is large. The room size means you trade an intimate vibe for a busy, high-energy group environment.
Seamless and corporate-grade. The front desk team is highly efficient, getting you checked in quickly. The front desk staff were funny and engaging.

Core Power Yoga UES Review – When you step into the CorePower Yoga Upper East Side branch on 86th Street, you are stepping into a beautifully oiled fitness machine. This was the first time I tried this chain of studios located in 23 states with the bulk in California. I tried the NYC Upper East Side location. In 2002, the founder Trevor Tice opened the first CorePower Yoga studio in downtown Denver, CO, offering a proprietary form of athletic, heated yoga in modern, welcoming and spa-like studios.

Their motto is  to welcome every individual as they are and celebrate the ways we are all different, yet connected. Wherever you are in your wellness journey, there is a place for you on the mat. They offer functional strength, flow & cardio conditioning, mobility & active recovery in the hot room but some are very low heat so a wide array of options. The UES studio was super welcoming and had a good giggle after the class. The actual studio room is gigantic—which means plenty of room to stretch out, though it does trade away that intimate, neighborhood-studio feel for a more commercial vibe.
