Rise Cycle Review – This group has established a stellar reputation with its two distinct studios across the city. I recently had the pleasure of dropping in for a morning class at their Queen St. E location. The local studio was comfortably half-full when I signed up for a session led by Jessi. Fun fact: it was actually her very first time teaching a public class, and she absolutely nailed the entire experience!
The facility itself is exceptionally clean, and the cycling studio stands out by offering a comfortable amount of breathing room between the bikes. Like most premium rhythm-based spin studios, the music is cranked. They provide complimentary earplugs at the front desk if you want a slightly dampened blast. For prep, make sure you are wearing form-fitting tights or supportive biking shorts. Bring a large bottle of water to get through the sweat, and get ready for an uplifting ride.
