Intensity & Challenge Verdict

This Vinyasa flow was a good effort but all levels can attend this class as so well balanced
Smooth, steady, and entirely thoughtful, the Hot Flow sequence moves with a deliberate pace
Zen curated playlists that suit the mood and vibe of the studio
Clean locker and change area in the basement that is coed and can change and go back to work
Comfortably spaced for 30 and well-proportioned. The upstairs layout accommodates a lively midtown crowd, but the mat placement ensures you always have plenty of dedicated room
Friendly and informative. The staff does a wonderful job introducing newcomers to the split-level dual-studio layout so you know exactly where to head for your specific class format.

Transcend Studio Review – Ready to transcend your standard movement routine? A gorgeous new zen-like sanctuary has officially arrived in Midtown Toronto north of the intersection of Yonge and Lawrence. Flaunting calming hues of terracotta paired with moody, dark aesthetics, Transcend Studio serves as a highly welcomed new addition to the Lawrence Park fitness fabric since the closure of Blue Canoe. Boasting a lineup of familiar local instructors, the space splits its experience across two distinct studios: an upstairs oasis dedicated to hot yoga, HIIT, and Pilates, and a downstairs bunker strictly for technical boxing with heavy hanging bags.

Sassy dropped in to test the upstairs studio, booking a signature Hot Flow Yoga session.  The state-of-the-art infrared heat provides a deep warmth without hitting you with that suffocating you!  While the studio provides all the core gear, mats, and essential hand towels, this is a heavy-glistening experience. Bring a giant bottle of water and a dedicated mat towel if you plan to conquer the double-header.
